The Omega VI-L has all the same features as the Omega VI except this one is designed for pistols with 3 or 6 volt light mounts. It can also be used without the light mounted. The bottom of the holster is sewn closed to prevent accidental discharge of your flashlight. Comes with thumb break security strap and extra mag pouch.

Do you want a thigh extender? YES. I learned to require an extender for two reasons. First ... I like the holster low and attached to my thigh without over-extending the holster adjustment strap itself. Second and mainly ... simplicity. When you wear the extender with quick release you can move in/out of the tent, rack, office, TOC, head ... whatever ... and remove / reconnect your thigh rig without getting undressed. To be able to remove the gun with the holster simply and quickly is well worth the extra money.
